sits atop the Cumeada Ridge in the countryside between Silves and
Messines, in The Algarve, approximately 45 minutes drive from Faro
International airport.
This villa is enclosed in an exotic tropical garden with lawns,
colourful flowers, palm and date trees, enjoys breathtaking views
to the north over the valley below. The outside temperature in summer
can reach 40 C, but the trees and altitude can provide a welcome
break from the heat, a peaceful spot for relaxation or a cooling
dip in the swimming pool.
Casa Cumeada has been tastefully decorated throughout by Minh Mang
Interiors, specialists in the Asian style, to enhance the relaxing
ambience. Rich Cambodian silk has been used together with fine Portuguese
cotton, prompting one interior critic to describe it as "Ethnic
chic meets Portuguese house".
There
are four bedrooms, comfortably sleeping eight adults; 2 doubles,
one of which has an ensuite bathroom, and 2 twins, as follows:

Dirty White Room
Decorated in Cambodian Silk with a King-size bed and ensuite bathroom.

Red Chamber
Decorated in Red Phoenix fabric with a Queen-size bed.

Black and White Room
With two single beds.

Kitchen
The kitchen with all modern amenities. Oven, microwave, dishwasher
etc.
Living/Dining
Room
The split level open plan living room has a wood burning fireplace
and glass doors leading onto the terrace. Satellite TV, DVD and
a CD player are provided.
Terrace
This tranquil area has a table and chairs for alfresco dining, daybeds
and soft furnishings for lounging away on a lazy summer's evening,
and overlooks the garden and swimming pool.
Pool
Area and Garden
The private 10m x 5m swimming pool is surrounded by matured palm
and date trees providing dappled shade like a large natural umbrella.
There is a BBQ area at the end of the garden and a children's play
area with swings and a climbing frame. A mini adventure playground.
Rental
Terms and Conditions
Rental period is from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday.
Guests should leave the villa by 10am on Saturday. Cleaning and
laundry is done once a week on Saturday.
50% deposit is required on confirmation of booking. The balance
is due on arrival. Breakage deposit of €250 in cash is required.
A complimentary Welcome Pack is included.
